Fish-Infused Ice Creams

Teare Woods Scoops Out Fish & Chips Ice Cream to its Customers

The owner of Teare Woods ice cream parlor, Shane Teare, created what is probably the most bizarre ice cream flavor you've ever heard of: fish & chips. His latest ice cream creation infuses the classic English meal along with its favored food pairing of mushy peas.

The fishy ice cream concoction consists of a scoop of minty mushy pea ice cream and a second scoop that has been rolled in fish and batter. It also comes served in a waffle cone, with a French fry -- or a chip, as they call it in the United Kingdom -- placed on top, similarly to a maraschino cherry on a banana split.

The unconventionally flavored ice cream could surprisingly be a hit in the UK considering its inhabitants' undying love for fish & chips, but one could only imagine how it would fare overseas. Lets just be thankful it doesn't include tarter sauce too.
