Despite its totally transparent appearance, this bottle contains milky tea-flavored water. From Japanese food and beverage company Suntory (the same brand behind woodblock-inspired beer cans), the Premium Morning Tea will become available in stores starting September 26, 2017.
The milk-infused tea-flavored water bottle joins Suntory's existing lemon tea flavor. The Morning Tea Milk is made using assam tea leaves and "milk-derived ingredients." You would expect the creamy aspect to be reflected in the way the drink looks, but instead the water is perfectly clear, causing some level of confusion to your taste buds. Design Taxi calls this high level minimalism.
Perfect for tea lovers and those who hate the taste of plain water, the new drink is refreshing as well as a bit of a novelty item.
