Located in the downtown area of Osaka, this cheese tart shop is definitely heavenly. The interior design of the store is completed by Fumitaka Suzuki of Yagyug Douguten and it boasts a gleaming aesthetic that is hard to go unnoticed.
For the curation of the 'Bake Cheese Tart Abeno Harukas Shop,' the designer used "warm-toned galvanized metal." The establishment specialized in the production of the treat and everything is made in-store. Exploring the idea of an open-concept, Fumitaka Suzuki allows for transparency of production through design. That is, the baking process of the cheese tart shop is in full-view and consumers can marvel as they watch the intricate techniques that are used to create the dessert.
The exceptional aesthetic of the tart shop was crowned 'Retail Interior of the Year' at the Dezeen Awards.
