DIY Tree Seats

The T3 Tree Chair by ZO-Loft Provides an Impromptu Outdoor Furniture Piece

The T3 Tree Chair is a simple design hack that allows people to create an impromptu resting spot anywhere that there is a tree. Used as a chair, table or even as a fort if stacked in multiples, it is very low-impact while utilizing spaces in the most optimal way possible. Gently attached with a rope, the T3 Tree Chair doesn't hurt the tree at all. That should put some minds to rest.

Designed by P.E.Bellisario and A.Cingoli of architecture and design firm ZO-loft, the T3 Tree Chair essentially uses strategically cut boards of styrofoam, the aforementioned rope and plastic rings. The rope threads through holes punctured into the styrofoam and the rings to hold it firmly against the trunk of the tree. Easy and eco-friendly, picnics will never be the same again.
