For those who like their dessert on the savory side, Sweetcream Dairy is the perfect destination. For a limited time, those who visit the ice cream parlor can sample everything from bagel and cream cheese ice cream to pepperoni pizza ice cream.
Located in Biddeford, Maine, Sweetcream Dairy is known for churning out some very unique ice cream flavors. This season, co-owners Jonathan Denton and Jacqui DeFranca decided to create a round of flavors inspired by restaurants in their coastal town of Biddeford. In total there are 10 new flavors including brown bread, black sesame, and lime gimlet sherbet. However, one of the most unique flavors is a tart cream-cheese ice cream with everything-bagel seasoning sprinkled on top inspired by Rover Wood Fired Bagels and Pizza.
With consumers increasingly looking to sample unique food combinations, unorthodox ice cream flavors like those created by Sweetcream Dairy are becoming more popular.
