'reKindness' is a new social platform that makes it easy for consumers to swap clothing online. Every year, approximately 21 billion pounds of textiles are sent to US landfills. This platform helps to cut down on unnecessary waste without forcing consumers to rewear the same items over and over again.

reKindness is a online community where consumers can swap clothing with one another. When users donate items to the store they will receive credit based on the value of the garment. This credit can then be used to purchase other items on the site. The only fee involved is the cost of shipping and handling. Users can even donate their credits to women in need if do not wish to purchase anything.

The platform ultimately allows consumers to get rid of items they no longer wear and stock up on new item without contributing to textile waste.
