Svetlana Mikhailova has reimagined the traditional Venetian water-bus in the form of a hydrogen-powered vessel, which is more eco-friendly than the original and a lot less noisy.
The Mira holds onto the traditional look of the old water-bus, titled the 'Vaporetto.' Considering Venice is such a timeless city, with tourists visiting every day for its history and culture, it's a good idea on the part of Svetlana Mikhailova to keep the general aesthetic of the water bus the same. However, considering the amount of pollution that falls into these waters from boats every day, having this eco-friendly alternative for tourists could be a big draw. For anyone who is conscious about the environment, this design will give the operating companies a nice leg up.
