The annual Sunflower Festival in the town of Sera in Japan is an event that many look forward, both local and beyond.
Though it has been going on for years now, it was more recently that talented photographers focused their lenses on the Summer Flower festival as a means to immortalize the beauty for themselves and increase its scope of awareness. As the resulting images depict, those who are in attendance are welcomed to walk through the fields of the Serakogen Nojo flower farm by themselves -- making for an inclusive event that's totally open to each individual's needs and desires.
Expressions of exuberant happiness are painted on the faces of each attendee the series reveals, although its difficult to not smile when perusing through a field of flowers on a bright summer day.
