To promote special pricing at SEAT, the company came up with a summer campaign that would tell you exactly how many kilometers are left until your summer holiday. Although the way people usually countdown to their vacations is based off of time, this calculator made the destinations seem much easier to grasp.
The campaign made use of Google Maps' GPS feature and each vacation spot was advertised to show the time, distance and cost that would need to be invested in each location by driving. For further incentive to get people to buy a SEAT at a special summer price, the campaign also gave travelers some fun suggestions for what to do with the money they saved.
