As part of a stunt to promote the release of the 'Attack on Titan' video game for the PlayStation 4, a unique set of subway posters are going up in Shinjuku Station.
Sony Computer Entertainment set up a 12-meter poster that features 50 of the titans from the anime, live-action movie and upcoming video game. Upon seeing the poster mural, members of the public are encouraged to take out a coin and begin scratching away the villainous titans on the poster. As well as offering entertainment value, fans of the franchise may be lucky enough to scratch a surface that reveals a QR code that links to a downloadable phone wallpaper.
In the past, Shinjuku Station has proved to be a popular spot for interactive gaming advertisements, including ones that make use of bubble wrap and building blocks.
