A series of Star Wars Coca-Cola bottles have been unveiled in Singapore as a tech-infused packaging that is sure to get consumes exciting for the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker film that's set to release on December 20.
The bottles feature main characters Rey and Kylo Ren respectively who are each holding a Lightsaber that can be illuminated by the consumer by pressing a button on the side. The technology within the soda bottle labels is the work of Berlin-based startup Inuru and is achieved using a printed battery along with OLEDs; the packaging is reported to sustain at least 500 activations.
The Star Wars Coca-Cola bottles are part of the Galactic Hunt promotion taking place between December 6 and 22 with just 8,000 examples being released.
