Fan-Assisted Electric Hypercar

The Spéirling Pure is a Road-Legal Electric Hypercar

The Spéirling Pure was introduced by McMurtry Automotive as the production version of its road-legal electric hypercar, carrying over the fan-assisted downforce system demonstrated by the earlier prototype. The vehicle uses high-speed fans operating at up to 23,000rpm with an extended underbody skirt to generate downforce that exceeds its 4,409lb dry weight, allowing it to remain attached to an inverted surface under controlled conditions. A new 100kWh battery replaces the prototype's 60kWh pack, while a wider wheelbase accommodates the larger battery and supports revised chassis packaging.

The hypercar uses dual rear-mounted electric motors producing 986hp, enabling a 0-60mph time of 1.6 seconds and a top speed of 190mph. The production model adds adaptive dampers, a flexible suspension system, and a 20% higher ride height for public roads. The battery can recharge from 20% to near full capacity in approximately 20 minutes under suitable charging conditions.
