Electric Hypercar Prototypes

The Lexus LFA EV Prototype is an All-Electric Performance Concept

The Lexus LFA EV prototype debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed as an all-electric hypercar developed to deliver engaging driving dynamics through new electric vehicle technologies. The concept is built on a lightweight aluminum platform shared with the Toyota GR GT and is expected to become the first production Lexus equipped with solid-state batteries. Development targets include a 0-62mph time of just over two seconds and a driving range exceeding 400 miles. The exterior adopts a restrained design language that emphasizes functional aerodynamics rather than overt racing-inspired styling.

The hypercar focuses on creating a distinct driving experience through bespoke tactile feedback and linear power delivery instead of simulated engine sounds or artificial gear changes. Engineers are refining the vehicle to reduce unwanted vibrations while taking advantage of the immediate response of electric motors.
