For the truly daring, the 'Oh Bite It' blog has developed a bold recipe for spicy shooters. Made from cherry-flavored Jello, fresh Fresno peppers and Sriracha vodka, these shots are sure to kick your party up a notch.
While these shots may sound complex, they are incredibly easy to make. To begin, you will need a box of cherry Jello, Sriracha sauce, Fresno peppers, rice and Sriracha vodka. To assemble your spicy shooters, begin by cutting your peppers in half and removing all the seeds. In a large bowl make your cherry Jello as per the regular instructions, but substitute some of the cold water for the Sriracha vodka. Place the peppers in a bed of rice and then spoon the Jello into each hollowed out pepper. After the jello has been refrigerated for several hours, extract the peppers from the pan and remove any rice. The result is a sweet and spicy Jello shot that is certainly not for the faint of heart.
