In order to highlight the capabilities of the Sony Multi-Room Audio system, London-based PR agency Hope&Glory; created an immersive dining experience with the help of the culinary research team at Bompas&Parr;. The event was spread across several rooms through which guests were guided through in an experimental exploratory journey of the senses.
Different aspects of the Sony Multi-Room Audio system served to highlight the experience of each individual course. Sound-based experiments aimed to influence the flavor intensity of each dish, while there was also a "sonic cleanse space," which included an aural cleanse.
The dessert course included helium-filled balloons of sherbet that were popped at the table paired with romantic pink-tinted lighting and a soundtrack aimed at encouraging fun. The unique immersive experiment is just one example of engaging multisensory experience that can create powerful emotional connections with consumers.
