Berlin's Telecom Store Wall Gets a Data-Inspired Makeover

Instead of buying your own wallpaper, why not just use a social media-inspired data wallpaper? Berlin-based design studio Onformative has created a one of a kind wallpaper to decorate the gallery walls of telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom’s flagship store in Berlin. The design too inspiration from the brand's dependency on social media networks, specifically Facebook, to keep in touch with its customers.

The result is a wallpaper made from the data between the telecommunications company and its customers' Facebook posts. The wallpaper is a beautiful colorful pattern that, at first glance, looks like flowers, but is instead an impressively complex labyrinth of Telekom's visualized data.

Depending on the various, different social interactions such as message length, number of likes, comment count and time of posting, the visual aspects of the data organized on the leafs may vary.
