Sony is looking to give Google Glass a run for its money with the introduction of the SmartEyeglass Attach!, a robust wearable that made an appearance at this year's CES.
The lightweight single-lens display module is able to attach onto different eye wear, instantly transforming a simple pair of glasses into a "smart" pair. Though compact in size, Sony's latest wearable prototype packs quite a punch: armed with High-Resolution Color OLED Microdisplay, a Micro-Optical Unit and a miniature control board, the SmartEyeglass Attach!, is a technological marvel.
The device allows users to access a wealth of virtual data and information with total ease. The display is limited to a small window, ensuring that it does not obstruct the wearer's vision.
