This Sloppy Joe french fry bake really is the epitome of comfort food. This fantastic dish can be made using frozen fries and a regular old oven, and is a great way to bring together some of the greatest foods known to mankind -- french fries, cheese and beef.
This dish looks fairly elaborate but it's actually reasonably easy to put together. Start by browning ground beef and cooking onions till soft. Then remove from heat and add the sloppy Joe sauce and sour cream.
At this point, add half the fries in a greased casserole dish and top with the meat, other half of the fries and cheese. Bake for 45 minutes and 350 degrees and voila!
While this Sloppy Joe french fry bake recipe uses Hunt's Manwich bold Sloppy Joe sauce, you can probably substitute in other sauces to put your own twist on the dish.
