Before you even leave, there are several things you can pack to make things easier on yourself. This includes noise-cancelling headphones, ear plugs, a blanket, music player, water bottle, travel pillow, sleep mask and reading material. During the flight, flipping your neck pillow so the gap is at the back can make a difference. Listening to white noise can help you sleep on planes and drown out any distractions.
