Virtual Medical Patient Experiences

SimforHealth Will Debut Its Doctor-Training VR at CES 2017

SimforHealth, a French medical technology startup, is bringing a new virtual solution for the healthcare industry to CES 2017. The company has created a method for training doctors using virtual reality, putting them through the experience of dealing with a patient before having to approach that experience in the real world.

SimforHealth's first ever virtual medical patient will deal with a case study in pneumology. Naturally, such a focus is only for the sake of the prototype; the hope is that SimforHealth's VR medical training will be popular and successful enough to eventually include scenarios for a host of diseases and ailments.

The pneumology scenario was developed with the help of the University Hospital in Nice's Center for Medical Simulation.
