Artist Jason Ruff is responsible for these awesome recycled shoe sculptures. Ruff recreates colorful Nike's from items like old cigarette packs, straws and duct tape. These stylish shoe sculptures look good enough to wear, so discovering that they’re essentially made out of garbage is pretty surprising.
Ruff has created a variety of different recycled material Nike sculptures, each with different colors and eye-catching patterns. One of his creative shoe sculptures is covered in squares of pink and yellow, while another incorporates a hypnotic triangle pattern, done in reds, purples and greens. These sleek trash bin sculptures are more fashionable than most of the shoes that I own, so I’m impressed.
These fantastic fashion themed sculptures show viewers that one man’s trash can be another man’s treasure (specifically his shoes).
