Contemporary Upcycled Bright Benches

Reclaimed Footwear is Used to Craft the Remix Maison Benches

Remix Maison by Native Shoe Remix works together with multidisciplinary designer Irina Flore on the new recycled home collection. The project uses Native Shoes' proprietary material along with metal to create sculptural furniture from reclaimed footwear for an upcycled construction.

The material itself is made from EVA and rubber and after the shoes are at the end of their life, they are collected, cleaned, and ground to be used to serve other purposes. To come from this process is a pink bench with many functions. The new brightly designed bench is a sustainable new life for the material and features many functions including a tray for small items, a seat, a shoe holder, and a coat hanger.
