Sitting on display at the 2015 North West Walls art festival is a series of shipping container art pieces acting as large painted murals.
Program curator and artist Arne Quinze was able to convince six different street artists from all over the world to come together for this project. The towering shipping container sculptures are carefully stacked to appear highly vivid and almost three-dimensional.
Located in the Belgian village of Werchter, these six artistic canvases also act as a centerpiece for the Rock Werchter music festival. They will remain on display until 2016 -- the same containers will then be re-painted by a new group of artistic minds, starting the shipping container art process anew once again.
