The 'Pull Me to Life' is a tabletop drawer designed by creative Juno Jeon that takes its name literally with a set of scales along the side and top of the piece that shift when the drawer is pulled open. When movement is applied to the furniture piece, the scales flip revealing a different color hue as to when the drawer is kept close. The added interaction to the drawer transforms the mundane task of opening and closing into an art experience.
The drawer is part of a larger furniture series called 'Movement' that showcases decor pieces as living objects. The side table features scales like an amphibian might have that are connected to drawer. When the drawer is pulled out, the scales flip in direction to reveal a white design that moves back to traditional wood when the drawer is closed.
