Scout Motors has revealed the Terra, an electric pickup truck developed with a body-on-frame platform and a solid rear axle configuration. The truck incorporates squared exterior surfacing, short overhangs, exposed recovery hooks, and upright proportions influenced by classic off-road utility vehicles.
Scout stated that the Terra targets more than 350 miles of range in its battery-electric configuration, while an optional Harvester range extender system integrates a gas-powered generator to increase projected driving range beyond 500 miles. The pickup also includes front and rear mechanical locking differentials, 35-inch tires, nearly 12 inches of ground clearance, and an available front sway-bar disconnect system. The Terra incorporates a 5.5-foot pickup bed, a powered front trunk, and a cabin with physical switchgear positioned beneath a central infotainment display.
