British artist George Morton-Clark recently opens an exhibition in the Gin Huang Gallery in Taipei entitled 'Same Tomorrow As Yesterday.' The solo exhibition shows his artwork that explores the co-existing themes of both pop art and abstract art.
The presentation is made up of 24 paintings in total, made up of both acrylic and oil work. The artist's abstract and figurative creations are created with inspiration drawn from his favorite pop culture references through mediums such as film and music as well as musical and traveling experiences. He is talented in blending together both eastern and western visual influences through captivating and bold imagery. Many of the visual references in his work recall Japanese anime and Western cartoon characters.
