GC America is expanding same-day restorative dentistry with 'GC GRADIA PREMi,' a hybrid ceramic resin made for SprintRay's Midas Digital Press. Unlike conventional printed resins, it is designed to be pressed in the system. GC says its restorative science dates back 105 years.
The U.S. rollout begins November 1, 2026, and the material is validated for use with the Midas Digital Press workflow. Dentists can fabricate crowns and veneers chairside, shortening the journey from scan to final restoration and reducing the need for provisional visits.
A pressable resin designed for one platform gives practices tighter control over fit, finish, and turnaround in an area of dentistry where speed and durability often compete. It also adds a second definitive material to SprintRay’s Midas, making the system a more complete production step for practices.
