Housed within the Zaha Hadid-designed MAXXI Museum, this Rome exhibition is a stunning solo show highlighting the works of Maurizio Nannucci. Entitled 'Where To Start From,' the exhibit was curated by Bartolomeo Pietromarchi and features 30 of Nannucci's pieces that span his whole career.
Of the 30 Nannucci pieces showcased in 'Where To Start From' are two pieces created specifically for the event. The first, 'Sound Samples,' is a sound installation created in collaboration between Simone Conforti and Nannucci. The second, 'More Than Meets The Eye,' is a large-scale neon piece for the MAXXI's facade that will remain as part of the museum's permanent collection at the commencement of the exhibition.
The unique Rome exhibition runs throughout summer 2015 and showcases the 30 pieces in a random, non-chronological order.
