Father and son Welsh photographers Robin and Talieson Coombes captured these spectacular shots of steam locomotives in motion. The team sees them as "almost a living, breathing machine" and they believe these trains can still inspire awe and wonder even when they are no longer operated daily. Their passion for photographing railways led them to capture these breathtaking shots of trains passing through different landscapes, over bridges and leaving behind magical trails of smoke and team.
Robin and Talieson Coombes captures a variety of different angles and perspectives of trains and the series will make you nostalgic for these olden choo-choo trains. The active train series has such a strong impact because in some images the trains seem so tiny but they trail enormous puffs of clouds behind them.
