The Ristorante Torre is Placed in the Fondazione Prada OMA Building
Madison Mackay — May 10, 2018 — Art & Design
Placed in the heart of Milan, the new Ristorante Torre is in the middle of a contemporary art compound with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer spectacular views for every guest.
The space is filled with richly textured walnut paneling and earth-toned hemp textiles for a touch of intimacy against the modern architecture. Adding pops of bright teal fabric on all of the seating options, the designers filled the restaurant with unique contrasts that pair perfectly with the one-of-a-kind menu. Serving a modern twist on traditional Italian cuisine, the restaurant is made up of a rotating set of under-30-year-old chefs who stay for up to two weeks to shake up the menu with an injection of youthfulness.
Seamlessly blending design with food, the new Ristorante Torre is an instant classic.
