Rihanna's Fenty X Puma Spring 2018 collection debuted at this year's New York Fashion Week event, and redefined the 'sporty chic' aesthetic by spotlighting biker, surfing and motocross-inspired apparel.
Deviating from the standard runway show, the pop singer brought together glistening pink mountains, BMX stunt riders and a high fashion take on sports wear to offer viewers an electric multi-sensory experience. The 360-degree runway featured models wearing a combination of both oversized and figure-hugging pieces including wet suit-inspired, wide-legged pants, brightly colored motocross jackets, off-the-shoulder spandex dresses and high heel flip-flops.
The line successfully blended elements from both streetwear and athletic apparel, and came to a close as the celebrity designer -- sporting thigh high leather boots and a cropped army green sweater -- rode off on the back of a motorcycle.
