Lyft Offers $10 Off to Celebrate Women in the Month of March

Lyft seeks to recognize the contributions of women throughout history and within the parameters of the community through a ride promotion. When traveling to select locations, individuals may use the code IWD2019TO in Toronto to receive a $10 off their ride until March 31st.

The locations have been chosen by Takara Small who was also recognized as Lyft's "local hero for the campaign." The destinations for the ride promotion in Toronto include the Royal Ontario Museum, the Toronto Reference Library, St. Lawrence Market and A Different Booklist which is an independent and multi-cultural bookstore in the city that specializes in content from the African & Caribbean Diaspora.

In addition to the ride promotion, Lyft will also be launching a social media series to spotlight powerful women, as well as host local meet-ups for its female drivers.
