'REYETS' Aims to Protect Civil Rights and End Police Brutality

The 'REYETS' app is a tool for helping to increase accountability, safety and knowledge related to police brutality, which could help to protect civil rights and more.

The app will provide guidance to users to help them feel more informed and understand how to assert their rights when encountering the police. Users can also report incidents, get help and even record what they are experiencing or witnessing to increase accountability. The app won't share information collected with law enforcement for enhanced peace of mind amongst users.

The 'REYETS' app is powered by community and will connect users to like-minded individuals as well as organizations. Recognized as a World Changing Idea by Fast Company, the app is supported by MIT and the BMW Foundation.
