Upcycled Durable Furniture

Retyred Original Crafts Furniture with a Blend of Teak Wood and Rubber

Retyred ORIGINAL represents captivating furniture design pieces constructed from raw materials that are constantly expanding -- old tires. Monica Corser and Bernie Kudernatsch are the founders of Retyred and the two first conjured up the idea when they met in Bali and encountered simplistic, yet comfortable chairs crafted from old tires. From there, the two were inspired and Retyred ORIGINAL came to fruition.

The design label upcycles the rubber materials with a blend of teak wood to deliver strong indoor and outdoor furniture pieces, as well as flower pots and storage systems. Retyred ORIGNAL's ethos is to instill inspiration in people through its design, manufacturing, and marketing process of its environmentally-friendly products. The label ensures that everything about the production process is done at a premium level, with the belief that unconventional and renewable materials are just as special as newly mined materials. What makes every piece special is that they are all crafted by hand to exude individuality.
