Spiritual Ecological Structures

This Religious Center Design is Stunning and Eco-Friendly

Inspired by the principles of the Jesuit faith, this stunning religious center design takes on elements like simplicity and spirituality to bring the structure to life.

Designed by architecture firm Gray Organschi Architecture, the Jesuit Community Center at Fairfield University was created for both students and staff to take a break from it all and connect with a higher power in the tranquil haven. Located right in the middle of the campus, the breathtaking religious center design takes into accounts its lush natural surroundings and makes sure its in-tune with it via a courtyard and rooftop garden. What makes the structure even more impressive is its energy consumption designs -- with a rooftop garden that filters rainwater, an insulation system that structurally reduces heat loss and a renewable or reused building materials exterior.
