Max Pritchard Architects designed the 'Prestipino House,' a relaxed home in Adelaide, South Australia.
This laid-back home, located in a suburban neighborhood, features a courtyard that looks towards the north and a pool. Stretching from the home's entrance to the courtyard is a sculptural wall that functions as the pool's backdrop. An outdoor kitchen is recessed into the wall, featuring golden plywood accents for the purpose of contrast. The high operable louvers ensure the flexibility of the outdoor spaces, and shading of the interior.
The living area is oriented towards the courtyard, decked in a neutral palette of white, timber, plywood and stainless steel, that offers the home the relaxed vibe of a resort space. The dining room features a timber-clad cantilever bench which is complemented by the bespoke dining table.
