Dead Leaf Seating Solutions

The 'Beleaf' Recycled Chair is Made from Leaves and Cooking Oil Waste

The 'Beleaf' recycled chair is crafted from unlikely materials that make it a far more eco-friendly piece of furniture than what's found on the existing consumer goods market. Crafted from dead leaves and bio-resin that has been made from cooking oil waste, the 'Beleaf' chair is the design work of student Jan Evangelista of the Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.

The 'Beleaf' chair consists of a main seat section that has been crafted from the dead leaves and bio-resin, while the frame of the chair utilizes tubular steel supports. While the 'Beleaf' recycled chair is likely not the strongest chair out there, it makes it possible to simply recycle it after it is no longer needed or broken without worrying that it will end up in a landfill to never decompose.
