Now that there are fewer people buying music that comes stored on some sort of a physical device, CD and record cover designs need to be more intriguing and clever than ever before. In this instance, the design of DJ QBert's Extraterrestria album shows off how to do this in a way that's appealing to people of all ages.

Rather than being decorated with traditional album art, this record cover features conductive ink, so that running your fingers over its surface produces sound. The print works a bit like a drum, so that when it's tapped, sound is emitted by the interconnected sound system. Taking advantage of the large amount of space that a record sleeve has to offer, this interactive DJ QBert packaging is only available in vinyl form.
