Modern Floating Pavilions

The 'Brook House' is Situated on the Rawa River

Situated on the Rawa river, the 'Brook House,' designed by Jakub Szczesny serves as a scenic, social gathering point.

The gorgeous floating abode, brings attention to the waterway, which, due to its narrowness, is rarely enjoyed by the public. To encourage more people to enjoy the city's canal, this thoughtfully designed pavilion, was docked next to a university, and is open to the public. Both chic and designed with comfort in mind, this device invites guests to sit back and enjoy the natural surroundings. The floating pavilion is equipped with a roofed room which sits atop a metal base, providing a scenic view point for the guest.

This project serves as an example of the influence architecture can have on its natural surroundings.
