'Meat after Meat Joy' is a quaint and esoteric meat-themed exhibit that opened recently at the Daneyal Mahmood Gallery in New York City. Boing Boing describes the exhibit as a collection of "...photographs, sculptures, and multimedia pieces that use, or comment on, raw meat, the concept of meat, its symbolism and viscera."
I don't pretend to understand the esoteric and enigmatic nature of this work. Raw meat and its relationship to the human body as an art medium is not a topic that keeps me awake at night--but I'd be curious enough to go and see this exhibit.
The exhibit will be on display from October 16th to November the 15th.
