The Quaker Oats 'Go Forridge' campaign is being launched in the UK to help inspire consumers to personalize their oats and have fun with the existing ingredients in their cupboard.
The commercial includes various porridge eaters heading into their refrigerators and pantries in search of toppings to incorporate into their freshly prepared oats. This encourages consumers to try out different recipes ranging from sweet to savory to switch up perceptions of the classic breakfast food.
Quaker UK Senior Marketing Manger Elizabeth Ashdown spoke on the Quaker Oats 'Go Forridge' campaign saying, "Our new Go Forridge campaign was born out of the insight that consumers want to be healthy, but they don’t want to compromise on taste or spend ages creating the perfect breakfast. They want shortcuts to better choices and a delicious healthy breakfast to be more effortless. This campaign marks a shift in creative direction for the brand, which is centred much more on emotion. It injects some personality into breakfast time with moments of observational humour that we can all relate to in our own kitchens.”
