StrongVolt kicked off 2014 with a Kickstarter campaign for its portable solar charger, which came to a close about a month ago, well exceeding its initial $10,000 goal with a final total of $68,469 collected from nearly 900 supporters.
Part of the reason why the StrongVolt has been met with such enthusiasm includes that it automatically reconnects to sources of sunlight, unlike most solar chargers that require manual intervention. Another winning feature is the StrongVolt’s compatibility with a wide range of devices, including Apple products, which are some of the most finicky when it comes to solar chargers because they require a steady connection to power.
Within the next 30-45 days, the StrongVolt solar chargers will undergo production. In the meantime, StrongVolt set up pre-orders at a discounted price for a range of its products, including its PowerBank Mini, Bluetooth Speakers, plus other accessories and solar chargers.
