Although Nintendo and the franchise company have had plans for some time now to produce a movie surrounding its creatures, the recent Pokémon Go popularity is what's likely to launch it into reality.

With these numbers to show, the likelihood of a Hollywood rendition has vastly improved. It's reported that Legendary Pictures is close to getting a deal for the project, meaning that fans might soon be able to see a movie based on the game from the same studio that brought 'Jurassic World' and 'The Dark Knight.'
