Designed by Kin Pan Lo, the unit has been created for low-income households that will operate as a bench on an everyday basis to ensure it's always within reach and ready for use. In the event of flooding, the bench can be quickly transformed into a rescue boat to give two passengers a safe way to escape the area unscathed.
