Shanghai-based design studio One Week unveils a new seating capsule dubbed the Pod collection, which is made to represent the naturally rounded shape of pods found in nature. It is made up of an armless seat, a single seat with armrests, and a sofa with armrests.
The main design language that all of the products share is the organic and rounded shape that forms the arms and backrests. The pod seats have a vibrant tonal look and are made from a premium sponge which creates a comfortable and soft seat. The capsule is also complete with Kvadrat 3D-knitted fabric, which is a material that is made from 68% new wool, 10% polyester, and 22% nylon.
