TRUWOMEN launched a series of dessert-inspired products, but with a twist, as all of the products take the form of nourishing plant-based protein bars. The flavorful protein bars from the Los Angeles-based nutrition company are being introduced in flavors like Daydreaming About Donuts, Oh Oh Cookie Dough, Smother Fudger Peanut Butter and Zamn Good Zesty Lemon. In what TRUWOMEN defines as a new category called "indulgent nutrition," these bars are formulated based on women's needs but retain a focus on simple ingredients like nuts, brown rice, chocolate and lemon.
Alongside its plant-based protein bars, the brand also launched Va Va Voom Vanilla and You're Mocha Me Cocoa protein powders.
As well as championing better-for-you nutrition for women, TRUWOMEN also prioritizes a women-powered business model and is supported by female-led partners.
