Most people have decided to celebrate Pizza Month (October) by eating copious amounts of pizza. The fine folks over at Trattoria Neapolis decided to take pizza in a less traditional direction by offering a Pizza Cocktail. The cocktail is exactly what you would expect and is certainly unique.
The cocktail features a tomato water, basil-infused vodka, ghost-pepper infused vodka, porcini powder, muddle basil and a topping of Parmesan and mozzarella foam. The actual cocktail is not only unique but "scarily accurate" according to some tasters. The cocktail is made from a bistro in Pasadena which prides itself on authenticity and accurate tastes. The cocktail is also served amongst other more standard choices on their menu. It's not too late to celebrate this month with a massive pizza or your very own pizza cocktail.
