The Aegis 'Lifeshirt' is a Streamlined Personal Flotation Device

Being that personal flotation devices are often bulky and awkward to wear during aquatic sports, the Aegis 'Lifeshirt' is designed to be a new way to stay safe in/on the water.

Able to be worn on sport shirts, the Aegis 'Lifeshirt' works with a system that can be set to automatic or manual. When set to automatic, the shirt will automatically inflate using a built-in CO2 bladder when the person is submerged in water, while the manual allows the wearer to activate it by pulling a handle.

If the incorporated CO2 bladder fails, the Aegis 'Lifeshirt' can be inflated via oral inflation. Being that many consumers don't see it necessary to wear personal floatation devices for lighter aquatic pastimes, the Aegis 'Lifeshirt' could help provide a more flexible option to staying prepared.
