Talented artist Daniel Eatock makes use of the bleeding texture of chromatic pen inks and symmetry in his latest art series fittingly titled, Pen Paintings. The series features a collection of technicolor works of abstract art.
Eatock has a rather minimalistic and simple process when it comes to making art that might remind some of us of our elementary school days. Eatock begins by using high-quality Letraset Promarker pens to create sporadic bursts of color on everyday typing paper. The sheets of paper are then folded several times in on themselves allowing the inky pen color to leak between the sheets creating mirror images. When the sheets are unfolded, the artist is left with a hypnotic symmetrical work of art filled with bleeding blobs of color
