Artist Patricio Betteo Interprets Superheroes in His Own Style

Iconic superheroes are a familiar sight, however artist Patricio Betteo has decided to put his own spin on the famous characters.

Betteo has transformed the typical villains and heroes into new and different forms. He has created an abstract or surreal feeling to the characters, and managed to morph their bodies out of proportion, either making them larger or smaller. When it came to their bodies, nothing was off limits. He altered the appearance of The Joker, Batman, Spiderman, Iron Man and Wolverine. What is interesting is that even though Betteo has changed their appearance, each character is instantly recognizable. Patricio Betteo has done an incredible job of altering the superheroes' appearances, while still being able to maintain their integrity.
